"Supervision is the joint exploration of material presented by the Supervisee. It involves the recognition that each party in supervision has different types of knowledge and experience (so that the Supervisee has greater knowledge of the client than the Supervisor, even if the Supervisor may have greater experience of therapy than the Supervisee); and it rests on the belief that despite large areas where there is little knowledge, in the dialogue of supervision itself there is always the possibility of greater understanding.”

We offer students from other centres Student Placement Supervision. All our qualified supervisors and tutors are able to offer students on placement supervison at a reduced rate. All our tutors/supervisors have a clear undersanding of what counselling students on placement need from supervision and qualification structure as they undertake their placement hours. If you are looking for a new supervisor to undertake your placement journey or are a qualified counsellor contemplating making a change at a future date we are able to support you in this move and offer ethical, professional supervison both online and face to face. We know how important it is to find the right supervisor to support you in your work.
Our approach is Integrative with a Person-Centred core. Our aim is to effectively support and challenge supervisees to enable them to work as efficiently and ethically as possible within their own unique style, helping them to both develop and grow as counsellors. As professional counsellors we are continually provided with challenges and opportunities to reflect upon and develop ourselves. A consistent supervisory relationship is invaluable to help navigate, ethically and safely everything we will come across as counsellors.
We have a wide range of experience in working with Couples, individuals, families as well as groups. We offer supervision to counsellors, both individually, and in groups, including students, newly qualified counsellors, and those with many years’ experiences.
We support Supervisees working in a variety of settings and with a range of presenting issues.
We passionately believe that supervision should be supportive, containing, and appropriately challenging, so that you can endeavour to be the best you can be for your clients, whilst also attending to your own self-care and professional growth.
The relationship needs to feel safe enough to bring your vulnerabilities as well as your successes.
Supervision can be a space to offload, to reflect on practice, to gain new insights, to find ways forward when feeling stuck, to recognise when your own issues are impacted by, or impacting on the work, to recognise and celebrate good practice, to identify areas for professional development and attend to your self-care needs.
We offer online, phone and face to face supervision to qualified counsellors and health, education & social care professionals as well as counselling students.
We provide group and individual supervision for health, education, and social care professionals.
