Shirley is a qualified Integrative Counsellor (using Person-Centred as her foundation) and is a Registered Member of the NCPS and BACP.

As well as working for (ACTC), Shirley also works as a Relationship Counsellor at her own private practice. Shirley uses different modalities of Psychodynamic, TA, Solution Focused Therapy, Emotional Focused therapy to work with her client’s.  Shirley teaches level 2, level 3 and level 4 CPCAB qualifications and is an experienced Counselling Tutor.

Louise Hubbin

Co- Tutor Level 4, Class Room Based

Louise ‘s experience is working with adults in doctors’ surgeries for the NHS, chair of the young people’s counselling service working with teenagers 13-19 and in private practice with couples and individuals. 

Lucy Smith

Course Tutor, Online Level 3

Lucy Smith is an Oxfordshire based psychotherapist, clinical supervisor, and lecturer. Lucy has knowledge and experience of working with third sector organisations such as Samaritans, Lymphoma Action, and Cruse Bereavement, together with several years in private practice working largely with bereavement and complex trauma.

Sarah Taylor

Course Tutor, Level 2 Online Tutor

Hi, my name is Sarah Taylor and I am excited to be teaching level 2 counselling skills online in September 2024.

I qualified as a counsellor in June 2020, and since then, I have run a successful private practice working from a lovely blue summerhouse in my own back yard. In the movie ‘The Field of Dreams’ the late, great actor Ray Liotta said ‘if you build it they will come’. Indeed, that has been the case for my lovely little counselling practice for the last three years.

Sean Morris

Hi my name is Sean and I am an Integrative Counsellor.  

Sean works as an addiction counsellor who has worked at a rehab facility in Stevenage called The Living Room for over two years.
